Writing Tip no. 13

Sticking to writing every day is all about forming a habit. To form a habit, it helps to do things in a similar way every time you sit down to write so that your brain becomes conditioned to the action. If you write in the morning, get up at the same time and use the same routine each day prior to sitting down. If you write in a cafe, try reserving the same spot each day or ordering a special “writing drink.” Have fun with developing this routine. Making it as enjoyable as possible will make it easier to keep up the habit.

November is National Novel Writing Month , or #NaNoWriMo, where thousands of writers around the world commit to writing an entire novel during November. Even if you can’t commit to writing a whole book, you can join Grammarly in our celebration of this month with #GrammoWriMo
