Writing Tip no. 16

Set micro-goals.

Writing a thesis or a novel is a big goal. These goals can be so large that they become overwhelming. One key to success with any ambitious objective is to take baby steps. Set smaller goals for each week or even each day, if that suits you. This will help keep you on track and keep the task manageable.

November is National Novel Writing Month , or #NaNoWriMo, where thousands of writers around the world commit to writing an entire novel during November. Even if you can’t commit to writing a whole book, you can join Grammarly in our celebration of this month with #GrammoWriMo
